The Auto Drain :
The compact, float operated, automatic drain fits snugly into the common bowl. There are
no clumsy external parts. It operates under "flow" and "no flow"
conditions and also when the system is bled down to atmosphere.
Operation :
 Auto Drain filters are equipped with a float
actuated device which automatically ejects liquid contaminates. When the liquid level in
the bowl reaches to a predetermined height, the float ( F ) opens a pivot
valve ( V ). This admits air above the piston ( P ), thus causing the drain valve ( D ) to
open. The liquid is expelled by air pressure to a drain where upon the float closes the
pilot valve and so the drain valve. For draining manually, turn the Brass/Plastic Knob
coming out anti-clock wise slightly.
Installation :
Siemag Auto Drain Assembly is easily interchangeable with the manual drain. If supplied in
a kit from SI-AD.P3 The Auto Drain can be installed by simply removing the manual drain
cock from the bowl and reassemble the Auto Drain as shown.
Minimum Working Pressure : 25 PSI
Maximum Working Pressure : 175 PSI
